To begin each year in the hopes that we will be happier, richer, or more secure is a very human behavior. However, a saner and happier approach might be to reflect on the gifts that were granted to us throughout last year. At each year’s end, I write a list of gratitudes for those things, people, events, etc. that came into my life throughout the year. Instead of focusing on the things I have yet to acheive or receive, I choose to look at what I did get. Let’s get this new year or our new lives started in a new way.
Today’s Life Coach Action Plan: List all the things that you have received this year so far; such as friendships, activities, new kids, new experiences, etc.
